Our inaugural Fiets of Parenthood event is scheduled during the hectic two-plus weeks of bike fun that is Pedalpalooza, on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from the hours of 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 908 SE Hawthorne (here in Portland, Oregon).
Here is the schedule of events:
¤11 a.m. :: Registration for events begins.
¤11:15 a.m. :: Opening remarks and inspiration.
¤11:30 a.m. :: Kindercross challenge.
¤11:45 a.m. :: Kids' scraper bike & flag making crafts. Will be concurrent w/kindercross
¤12:15 p.m. :: Family bike obstacle course.
¤1:00 p.m. :: Parent-child figure cycling. 4-6 teams; must pre-register
¤1:30 p.m. :: Community-building/equipment-fondling.
¤2:00 p.m. :: Awards ceremony and closing statements.
